2017年2月，华黎作为唯一的中国建筑师，受邀参与新西兰建筑师协会组织的国际建筑师论坛。会议邀请了11位建筑师进行了分享和讨论。在论坛中，华黎以TAO近期项目为载体，发表了题为“探寻设计的起点”的演讲。

As the only Chinese architect, HUA Li was invited to the 2017 NZIA Conference. 11 leading international architects were invited to share their inspirations and experiences. HUA Li gave a lecture "Searching for origins" at the conference.
